People & Culture Business Partner

About the role

The People & Culture Business Partner will act as a strategic HR ally for assigned units within World Vision Vietnam, supporting the organization’s mission to improve the lives of vulnerable children. You will ensure HR practices align with strategic goals, foster a positive employee experience, and maintain compliance with policies and labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with line managers to plan staffing needs and align workforce plans with strategic objectives.
• Facilitate multi‑year and annual workforce planning, including grant and project budget proposals.
• Manage salary and benefits expenditures, monitoring spend and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure policy and legal compliance.
• Track retention, turnover, and other workforce metrics to inform decision‑making.
• Support the recruitment process: attract candidates, participate in interviews, ensure competency‑based assessments, and advise on offer packages.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation to embed WVIV’s values, policies, and operational approaches.

Required profile

• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into HR actions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with managers and cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of Vietnamese labor laws and internal HR policies.
• Experience in workforce planning, compensation management, and talent acquisition within a nonprofit or development context.
