Project Engineer – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the delivery of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar PV and battery storage, from engineering through to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and hand‑over of renewable energy projects.
• Review engineering designs, technical drawings, specifications, calculations and construction methodologies.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, utilities, regulatory agencies and local authorities.
• Monitor engineering schedules, project progress and key performance indicators.
• Support quality inspections, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Energy Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in renewable energy project engineering.
• Experience with utility‑scale solar PV, wind or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems, substations, transmission lines and electrical protection systems.
