Raw Material Planner – Production & Procurement

About the role

The Raw Material Planner will support Bosch's high‑tech belt assembly plant in Long Thanh by ensuring the right materials are available at the right time. This role combines procurement planning, supplier coordination, and inventory optimisation to keep production flowing smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with production planners to forecast material needs and adjust daily stock levels.
• Execute daily/weekly material call‑offs from suppliers and manage lifetime of parts to avoid excess or obsolescence.
• Maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships, handling pull/delay requests, shipping notifications, and scheduling agreements.
• Prepare and submit mandatory reports (inventory, air‑freight, supplier KPIs) and support logistics reporting tools such as ILCS and IMAP.
• Monitor business and forecast plans, optimise inventory levels, and define minimum/maximum stock parameters.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects within the Bosch Production System, reviewing planning files and contributing to suggestion schemes.
• Act as proxy for procurement and production planning when required.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Willingness to handle coordination tasks of varying difficulty.
• Ability to propose reporting approaches and templates.
• Compliance with mandatory reporting requirements.
• Proactive involvement in logistics and inventory processes.
• Strong analytical mindset for inventory optimisation and cost reduction.
