Senior Accountant – Up to 30M VND – Full-time – Hanoi

About the role

VIA Vietnam Co., Ltd, a Japanese‑owned accounting, tax and legal consulting firm, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Hanoi office. You will work with Japanese‑invested companies, ensuring accurate financial reporting and tax compliance in a professional international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards.
• Handle tax declaration, tax reporting and tax consulting for Japanese‑owned clients.
• Ensure compliance with current accounting and tax regulations.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Provide guidance to junior accountants and assist in team management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience as a General Accountant, preferably in an accounting service firm.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Good English proficiency.

• CPA Certificate (or Accounting Practice Certificate – APC).
