Senior Advocacy Officer

About the role

The European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam is seeking a Senior Advocacy Officer to lead and coordinate the activities of its Sector Committees. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, supporting policy advocacy, and providing legal assistance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily coordination of 3‑4 assigned Sector Committees, ensuring timely execution of projects and events.
• Organise and follow‑up committee meetings, ongoing activities, and related events.
• Maintain effective internal and external communications to support advocacy initiatives.
• Monitor budgets, track financial performance, and ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Provide legal support and guidance on policy matters relevant to EuroCham’s advocacy work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, International Relations, Political Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• Legal background strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in policy advocacy, legal assistance, and project or operations management.
• Proven track record of working on issues related to business advocacy and regulatory environments.
