Senior AI Engineer – Agentic AI

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design and deployment of agentic AI solutions that empower logistics and business operations. You will work closely with logistics leaders, data engineers and stakeholders to turn high‑impact AI use cases into scalable, production‑ready architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with logistics leaders, data engineers, and business stakeholders to define high‑impact AI/agent use cases and translate them into scalable architectures.
• Architect and deploy multi‑agent systems using frameworks such as CrewAI, AutoGen and LangGraph for complex reasoning and orchestration.
• Build and optimise retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, including retrieval, ranking and context‑selection strategies.
• Integrate large language models with enterprise systems (SAP, internal tools, REST APIs) using MCP and tool‑calling mechanisms.
• Develop agent workflows across platforms such as Copilot Studio, n8n and Azure AI.
• Implement evaluation frameworks for prompt quality, hallucination detection and token efficiency.
• Own the deployment of AI services, including API design, orchestration, monitoring and continuous improvement of prompting strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical standards and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in AI/ML or software engineering with production‑grade systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python; familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph).
• Solid understanding of RAG, vector databases, embeddings and retrieval optimisation.
• Experience integrating APIs, MCP and enterprise tools such as ERP/SAP.
• Proven track record deploying AI solutions in cloud environments with CI/CD, monitoring and scaling.
