Senior Buyer

About the role

Vinfast Global is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to lead sourcing activities for automotive components and services. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the right materials are purchased at the right price, quality, and delivery schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials, components, and services in line with quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to secure optimal value and build long‑term supplier partnerships.
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to align procurement with operational needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier‑management capabilities.
• Good knowledge of sourcing strategies, cost analysis, and contract management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
