Senior Edge AI Engineer (ROS 2 / Computer Vision / Sensor Fusion)

About the role

We are building a new technology capability within Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam. The Senior Edge AI Engineer will own end‑to‑end systems that combine AI, software and physical devices, working hands‑on with the latest edge AI hardware and delivering pilots that solve real user problems.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the architecture of AI‑enabled edge systems, making build, buy or reuse decisions and assessing vendors and platforms.
• Set up labs, toolchains and simulation environments, and integrate edge devices with enterprise applications such as identity, scheduling and facility systems.
• Turn validated user problems into working pilots, measure adoption, and ensure delivery within security, safety and quality constraints.
• Guide and review the work of other engineers, define engineering practices and capture reusable components for future projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end system designs that were adopted by real users.
• Ability to make key technical decisions and improve other engineers through reviews, standards or mentoring.
• Experience delivering under real‑world constraints such as security, safety, compliance or customer quality requirements.
• Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese.

Required skills

• Strong C++ and/or Python development on Linux.
• Hands‑on experience with at least two of: ROS 2, computer vision, sensor fusion, real‑time control, edge AI deployment.
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems via APIs.
• Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Gazebo) and edge platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson.
