Senior HESQ & Operations Specialist

About the role

Yara International seeks a senior professional to lead Health, Environment, Safety, Security, Quality (HESQ) and Operations Excellence across its Ho Chi Minh business unit. The role combines strategic HESQ stewardship with hands‑on oversight of warehouse and logistics processes to ensure safety, compliance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate activities to achieve the HESQ Index target and ensure compliance with Yara standards and local regulations.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve HESQ procedures, work instructions and management systems, including ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
• Drive product stewardship throughout the value chain, covering suppliers, logistics providers and customers.
• Manage safe and compliant operations of 3PL warehouses, inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation and logistics service invoicing.
• Monitor and improve performance of 3PLs, suppliers and service providers using operational excellence and PDCA principles.
• Conduct internal and external audits, coordinate certifications and ensure timely closure of findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE, Quality, Compliance, Operations or Supply Chain.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, ISO management systems and product stewardship.
• Professional certification as ISO 9001 and/or ISO 45001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
