Senior Mechanical Engineer – Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong Quantity Surveying expertise to join our team in Hanoi. The role involves managing the cost and contractual aspects of mechanical works while supporting design and construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take‑offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates for mechanical projects.
• Manage project costs, variations and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and certify subcontractor claims and payment applications.
• Prepare progress payments and final accounts for clients.
• Monitor project budgets and control costs to ensure financial targets are met.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams.
• Support tendering activities and provide cost input for new opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and specialized engineering software.
• Design or Supervision Certificate for MEP works.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Hard‑working and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to produce design drawings, shop drawings, calculations and clear design explanations.
