Senior Officer, Actuarial Services

About the role

FWD Vietnam is seeking a Senior Officer in Actuarial Services to assist the team lead in executing the product calendar and delivering robust pricing models that support the company’s business ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input across all aspects of product design, including feature analysis, competitor benchmarking, system development, and financial performance review.
• Develop and maintain pricing models using the Excel pricing template and Prophet.
• Support the end‑to‑end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
• Conduct actuarial valuations and modelling to ensure product profitability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as underwriting, finance, and IT to align product features with business goals.
• Prepare financial performance reviews and contribute to strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of actuarial working experience.
• Close to ASA qualification with at least four actuarial exams passed and VEE completed.
• Experience in pricing and modelling, preferably within insurance.
• Familiarity with Prophet is a plus.
