Software Engineer Intern – Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java

About the role

Join the Innovation & Technology team at Bosch Group’s software centre in Ho Chi Minh City to support research and development of software prototypes and proof‑of‑concept products. This internship is learning‑focused, allowing you to experiment with emerging tools without responsibility for production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in building software prototypes and internal R&D tools.
• Integrate AI‑assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot into your development workflow.
• Participate in user research activities, including interviewing, observing, and synthesising feedback from prototype users.
• Contribute to design and iteration cycles based on user input.
• Document your work and share findings with the team.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university program in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Solid foundation in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted coding tools in personal or academic projects.
• Built at least one personal project that has been tried by real users.
• Curious about user behaviour and able to work independently while communicating progress clearly.
