Structural Design Department Manager

About the role

The Structural Design Department Manager will lead the Engineering Division of gbc engineers Vietnam, overseeing project delivery, team performance, resource allocation and business development support. This senior position ensures the division meets its technical, financial and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Engineering Division in line with company goals.
• Develop and implement divisional plans, budgets and performance metrics.
• Manage project delivery, ensuring compliance with technical standards, schedules and cost targets.
• Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects and supervise team performance.
• Support business development activities and maintain client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with significant leadership of large technical teams.
• Proven track record in project management, P&L accountability and departmental leadership.
• Strong knowledge of structural and civil engineering codes (Eurocode, TCVN) and BIM processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
