About the role
GEM Corp is looking for an experienced Technical Lead for its Blockchain Platform, based in Hanoi. The role takes ownership of technical architecture and development while staying hands-on with implementation, code reviews and technical decisions. It suits someone with strong JavaScript/TypeScript, Web3 and backend engineering expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and development of backend services and APIs
- Design and review microservices and blockchain integrations (EVM, Solana)
- Guide the engineering team on architecture, coding standards and best practices
- Work with DevOps to deploy and run applications on Azure Kubernetes
- Ensure system scalability, performance, security and reliability
- Review code, mentor engineers and support technical problem solving
- Collaborate with Product, QA and DevOps to deliver features on time
- Improve CI/CD, monitoring and engineering processes
Required profile
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership or team lead role
- Proven experience designing microservices and cloud-native applications
- Experience integrating with blockchain platforms, including EVM-compatible networks and/or Solana
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, scalability and high-performance architectures
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, application security and production operations
- Good written and spoken English
Required skills
- JavaScript/TypeScript backend development
- Kubernetes, Docker and Infrastructure as Code; Terraform is a plus
- Nice to have: Azure services (Function Apps, Container Apps), security best practices and performance optimization
