Technical Project Manager (NPD/NPI) – Global Product Development

About the role

Molex is seeking a Technical Project Manager to drive New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives within its Copper Solutions Business Unit. The role focuses on delivering advanced telecommunications and data‑center solutions for global customers while coordinating cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NPD and NPI projects from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Plan and control project schedules, budgets, and resources across multi‑national matrix teams.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to maintain delivery timelines.
• Collaborate closely with customers and external executives to capture requirements and provide status updates.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, finance, and quality teams to ensure seamless product introduction.
• Travel domestically and internationally (up to 15%) as required for project activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of project management experience, preferably in product development.
• Proven track record leading NPD projects and managing customer‑facing engagements.
• Experience leading multi‑national teams within a matrix organization.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
