Trade Coordinator - Instant Coffee

About the role

The Trade Coordinator will support the instant coffee trading desk by managing contracts, ensuring accurate costing, and coordinating with internal teams such as Logistics and Risk. This role is essential for maintaining smooth trade operations and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and input purchase, sales, and tolling contracts accurately in the system based on traders' instructions.
• Ensure contracts are duly signed, countersigned and properly maintained.
• Maintain accurate costing and perform regular reconciliation of contract information.
• Develop a solid understanding of costing, contractual terms, trading limits and positions to support the desk.
• Coordinate with Logistics on shipment projections and with Risk on counter‑party onboarding and trading limits, escalating issues as needed.
• Review counterparties' contracts and confirmations against company records and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyse business and operational reports as required.
• Support continuous improvement of trade coordination processes, controls and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Trade, Economics, Economic Law or related field.
• Minimum one year of experience in trade operations, contract administration or commercial support, preferably with global stakeholders.
• Familiarity with international trade practices, Incoterms, payment terms, logistics and trade documentation.
• Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and proficient in English.
• Experience in coffee or commodity trading is a plus.
