Validation and Verification Engineer

About the role

The Validation and Verification Engineer will analyze customer and internal requirements, design test cases, and execute both manual and automated software and system tests for automotive ECU projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and perform manual and automated tests, including SIL and HIL setups.
• Configure and maintain LabCar test bench hardware, ensuring ECU connections and communication (CAN/LIN/Ethernet).
• Analyze defects, report them, and clarify open points.
• Coordinate team activities and troubleshoot hardware, wiring, and integration issues.

Required profile

• Major in Computer Engineering, IT, Electrical‑Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive or related fields.
• At least 0.5 years of experience in software and system testing.
• Strong knowledge of software life‑cycle and automotive systems.
• Good English communication skills.

Required skills

• Programming: C/C++, Python, VBA, Perl, API programming.
• Automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet.
• Hands‑on understanding of electronic hardware, circuits, sensors, actuators, and ECU architecture.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, pinouts and technical documentation.
• Use of debugging and measurement tools: oscilloscopes, CAN analyzers, multimeters, logic analyzers.
