Welding Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Welding Engineer to lead design, specification, and quality control of welding processes in our manufacturing environment. The role involves close collaboration with production teams to ensure on‑time delivery and compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and create 2D/3D engineering drawings for welding projects.
• Develop and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and qualify welders.
• Prepare work instructions, manuals, routing documents, and Bills of Material (BOM).
• Calibrate welding machines and manage welding consumables such as wires and filler materials.
• Monitor production order progress, ensuring quality and on‑time delivery.
• Control non‑conforming products, conduct root‑cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in metal welding, welding inspection, or non‑destructive testing (NDT).
• Proficiency with TIG, MIG, and MAG welding processes and familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience using ERP systems for production planning and documentation.
• Strong computer skills and ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
