Manufacturing Model Optimization Expert – Hai Phong

About the role

Vinfast Trading And Production JSC is seeking a Manufacturing Model Optimization Expert to lead the design and implementation of advanced manufacturing models that boost operational performance, increase labor productivity, and lower production costs. The role supports the Group’s Smart Manufacturing strategy and will be based in Hai Phong.

Key responsibilities

• Research, propose, and design manufacturing models such as Lean Manufacturing, Toyota Production System (TPS), Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, and Digital Manufacturing.
• Assess current factory operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimized models to improve throughput and cost efficiency.
• Lead and execute optimization projects, coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Monitor performance metrics post‑implementation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Data Science, Industrial Management or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, lean production, industrial engineering or smart manufacturing.
• At least 3 years of experience leading optimization projects.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, value‑stream mapping and TPM activities.
