Product Development Intern

About the role

Join Bosch’s Automotive R&D Center in Ho Chi Minh City as a Product Development Intern. You will support the design and testing of electrical connectors for the automotive industry, gaining hands‑on experience in a multinational engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis and dimensional measurement using 3‑D data.
• Apply engineering methodologies such as FMEA, DRBFM and DFMA to ensure robust product designs.
• Support testing activities, including sample preparation, test set‑up and execution.
• Assist in technical risk assessments, problem solving, customer approvals and tooling release processes.
• Contribute to the development and optimisation of design solutions.
• Explore and apply AI and digital tools to improve design efficiency and product quality.

Required profile

• Final‑year student in Mechanical, Automotive, Aeronautical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Preferred GPA of 7.5 or higher.
• Relevant coursework or projects in product development, design, simulation or testing.
• Strong interest in innovation, experimentation and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in English for daily communication and documentation.
• Available full‑time for 4‑6 months.
