Senior Calibration Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Calibration Engineer to join Bosch’s automotive safety team in Ho Chi Minh City. In this role you will lead the calibration of airbag deployment algorithms, ensuring they meet customer specifications and global safety regulations. You will work closely with customers, regional stakeholders and internal project teams to deliver high‑quality calibration solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and meet customer specifications and timelines for algorithm, calibration and vehicle integration work packages.
• Manage requirements from analysis through to acceptance.
• Process vehicle crash sensor data from the laboratory and load it into the crash database for simulation.
• Calibrate algorithm parameters to achieve airbag deployment performance in line with CN‑NCAP, EU‑NCAP, ASEAN‑NCAP and other regulations using Bosch internal tools.
• Ensure compliance with development processes and quality standards.
• Support project cost estimations, plan and manage resources, and control budgets.
• Report calibration results to customers and discuss findings.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders in China and Japan.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of technical experience in the automotive industry.
• Basic knowledge of algorithm or software development.
• Advanced understanding of physics and vehicle dynamics.
• Strong management capabilities including change, configuration, project and requirements management.
• Effective time‑management, logical thinking and teamwork skills.
