Sales Manager - Surface Treatment Vietnam

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead our surface treatment business in Vietnam, supporting cold‑forming customers across the APAC region. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, you will act as the technical liaison between key accounts and our global teams, ensuring successful line start‑ups and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide virtual and on‑site technical support for APAC key and strategic customers, focusing on cold forming processes such as wire drawing, tube drawing and cold forging.
• Handle on‑site troubleshooting, including laboratory simulations of field scenarios in collaboration with the Application team.
• Support line audits, deliver product recommendations and manage line start‑ups, including bath make‑up calculations and initial parameter checks.
• Coordinate corrective actions with local teams after first‑production runs and ensure smooth hand‑over.
• Organise and deliver technical training sessions together with customers and sales teams.
• Serve as the English‑speaking link between local, regional and global colleagues, sharing troubleshooting experiences and lessons learned.
• Identify technology gaps and opportunities, communicating them to Regional Marketing Managers.
• Advise on new plant layout, optimisation and act as backup for the Application team when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in surface treatment or a related industry.
• Strong intercultural communication skills and ability to work with diverse APAC customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
