Technical Key Account Engineer – Automotive (Japanese) – Long-term Japan

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Key Account Engineer to support automotive component projects for Japanese OEM customers. The position involves a long‑term onsite assignment in Japan, acting as the primary technical liaison between customers and Bosch engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first‑level Technical Key Account (TKA) for assigned automotive component projects.
• Handle technical questions, requirements, and clarifications from Japanese OEM customers.
• Support project execution for Passenger Car and Commercial Vehicle applications, ensuring alignment with milestones.
• Assist in new project acquisition activities, providing technical documentation and inputs.
• Coordinate and track Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) for customer projects.
• Take ownership of relevant quality and engineering change processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in automotive component projects.
• Fluent Japanese language skills.
• Strong technical background to interact with engineering teams.
