Technical Sales Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to support our quotation (RFQ) process and translate customer requirements into clear specifications for our engineering team in China. The role combines technical understanding of mechanical products with strong communication skills to ensure accurate and timely responses to client inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze all documents, drawings and information received for RFQ processing, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Review customer requirements, interpret specifications and convey them precisely to the internal team.
• Collaborate with the China engineering team to develop accurate quotations and technical proposals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of machining products and mechanical manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in technical sales or a related field.
• Diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, aerospace engineering, industrial design or an equivalent technical degree.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Familiarity with the machining products industry or mechanical manufacturing processes.

Required skills

• SolidWorks (or other 3D modeling software) – considered an asset.
