Assistant Manager, Agency Planning

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Agency Planning will support Shinhan Life Vietnam in shaping the agency channel strategy. You will combine market intelligence with practical planning to optimise compensation schemes and drive agency performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market intelligence on the Vietnam life‑insurance market, including compensation practices, recruitment tactics, campaign effectiveness and sales activities.
• Analyse industry trends, regulatory updates and competitor moves; prepare concise market reports and strategic recommendations for senior management.
• Develop, monitor and continuously improve bonus and incentive schemes for the agency channel to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with sales, compliance and product teams to implement agency‑focused initiatives and track their impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Insurance or a related field; basic life‑insurance qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar agency‑planning role within a life‑insurance company.
• Results‑driven, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver actionable insights.
• Proactive, open‑minded with strong business acumen for agency distribution.
• Experience in coaching and developing team members.
• Excellent collaboration and relationship‑building skills across business functions.
