Business Developer (Furniture)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Developer specialized in furniture to drive products from concept through market launch. The role combines strategic thinking, market insight and hands‑on project management to ensure new furniture collections are sourced, developed and delivered on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Identify market trends and define product concepts aligned with customer needs.
• Lead the end‑to‑end development process, coordinating design, R&D, sourcing and production teams.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms and ensure lead‑time compliance.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control and timeline management for each project.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to launch products and achieve revenue targets.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in sourcing, procurement or product development within the furniture or home‑furnishing sector.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities with careful attention to lead‑time management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
