Embedded Requirement-Based Testing Specialist (V&V)

About the role

The Embedded Requirement‑Based Testing Specialist will lead verification and validation activities for automotive software and systems. You will ensure that customer requirements are translated into robust, traceable test cases and that defects are identified early in the development cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end requirement‑based testing (RBT) following the V‑Model, ensuring traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
• Define project‑level test strategy aligned with product risk, complexity and release targets, and establish scalable test architectures such as HiL, SiL and automation.
• Design test cases using advanced techniques (boundary, equivalence, state‑based, fault injection) and standardise test specifications for reuse and automation.
• Provide deep technical expertise in automotive systems (e.g., ESP, iBooster), embedded systems and microcontroller architectures, supporting root‑cause analysis at system and software levels.
• Lead defect analysis, cross‑functional problem solving and drive continuous quality improvements in V&V processes.
• Collaborate with project managers, system engineers and development teams to communicate test progress, risks and quality status.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in automotive embedded testing, requirement‑based verification and validation, and familiarity with the V‑Model lifecycle.
