Embedded Software Architect / Technical Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Architect / Technical Lead to drive the design and implementation of safety‑critical software solutions for Bosch’s automotive and industrial products. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, you will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality, reusable software that meets customer expectations and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and manage software requirements, resolving gaps and conflicts with customers.
• Design and approve software architecture models that satisfy functional, safety and reuse criteria.
• Define variation handling strategies to maximise code reusability across product lines.
• Evaluate architecture quality, identify weaknesses and guide continuous improvement.
• Lead the development team, providing architectural guidance and reviewing artifacts for compliance.
• Monitor software quality metrics and manage technical debt for long‑term sustainability.
• Support ASPICE assessments, quality gate releases and provide technical consultation on customer issues.
• Collaborate with system, test, platform and third‑party teams and participate in technical recruitment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong teamwork orientation and self‑discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Required skills

• C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Software architecture design.
• UML modelling.
• Deep knowledge of microcontroller architectures and constraints.
• Experience with ASPICE assessments and software quality gates.
