Embedded Software Developer – Application Software (ASW)

About the role

Join Bosch Group as an Embedded Software Developer focused on Application Software (ASW) for automotive systems such as ABS, ESP and iBooster. You will work on analysing customer requirements, designing solutions and delivering high‑quality embedded code that directly contributes to vehicle safety and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse functional requirements from customers and decompose them for cross‑functional teams.
• Create detailed software designs that meet automotive standards.
• Implement application software using the ASCET tool, primarily in C/C++.
• Perform unit and component testing for each software release.
• Integrate calibration parameters to optimise function performance.
• Evaluate vehicle test results and troubleshoot issues reported by APP, TPM or customers.

Required profile

• Degree in Automotive Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical‑Electronics, Electronics‑Telecommunication or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of C/C++ and MATLAB programming.
• Understanding of embedded systems concepts (micro‑controllers, sensors, ADC, timers, interrupts, memory).
• Interest in automotive technologies such as ABS, ESP, AEB, ACC.
• Good time‑management, responsibility, teamwork and logical problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient English communication.
