Embedded Software Engineer (Chinese Speaking, HSK4)

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who can develop and maintain complex embedded software components while communicating fluently in Chinese (HSK4). The role is based at Bosch Global Software Technologies in Ho Chi Minh City and supports Bosch’s automotive, industrial and consumer technology businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop and maintain embedded software based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform software requirement engineering, including analysis, validation and maintenance of customer requirements.
• Integrate software modules, configure builds and create unit, component and integration test cases.
• Apply coding standards and development processes to produce reliable, maintainable code.
• Use debugging and analysis tools to troubleshoot defects and performance issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and Bosch quality frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Fluent Chinese language skills (HSK4 or equivalent).
• Proven ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Strong programming in C and C++.
• Experience with microcontroller architectures and device driver development.
• Knowledge of real‑time operating systems (RTOS).
• Proficiency with debugging, unit testing and integration testing tools.
