Embedded Software Project Manager – Automotive (Airbag)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Project Manager to lead automotive embedded software projects for Chinese OEM customers in the airbag domain. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, you will own delivery of software work packages, ensuring quality, cost, schedule and stakeholder alignment across global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive software development strategy together with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage software requirements from analysis through acceptance.
• Plan, allocate and monitor delivery of software work packages.
• Control project costs against the approved budget.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and development processes (ISO 26262, ASPICE).
• Report project status to management and escalate barriers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• 3+ years of software project management or technical leadership.
• Experience with automotive embedded projects, preferably in the airbag domain.
• Proven ability to work with Chinese OEM customers.
