Embedded Software Specialist – Sensor Signal Processing

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Specialist focused on Sensor Signal Processing (SSP) for automotive applications such as ABS, ESP, iBooster, DPB, and IPB. You will join Bosch Global Software Technologies in Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to the development of safety‑critical functions that connect sensors, software, and services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer requirements and own assigned SSP functions.
• Break down, tailor, and develop system, function, and software requirements, including functional safety aspects.
• Create system/function design and software requirement specifications.
• Allocate requirements to software components and support implementation.
• Define verification criteria and develop test specifications based on system requirements.
• Perform requirement‑based verification, evaluate test results, and resolve technical issues.
• Lead failsafe discussions and ensure technical alignment across global project teams.
• Support functional safety activities and ensure compliance with project and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or related fields.
• 7+ years of professional experience in automotive software development or similar.
• Strong knowledge of embedded software development and model‑based development methodologies.
• Good understanding of automotive software architecture and the software development lifecycle.
