Embedded Software Test Engineer (Safety Systems)

About the role

Join Bosch's Ho Chi Minh City software development centre as an Embedded Software Test Engineer focused on safety systems such as ABS, ESP and iBooster. You will contribute to the verification of critical automotive functions by executing and automating test scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Run functional test cases and regression suites for safety‑critical software.
• Analyse defects, report them and follow up on resolution.
• Clarify open points with development teams.
• Design, develop and maintain test cases based on requirements.
• Set up and maintain SIL (Software‑in‑Loop) and HIL (Hardware‑in‑Loop) test environments.
• Coordinate daily team activities and ensure efficient progress.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve test efficiency.

Required profile

• Major in Computer Engineering, IT, Electrical‑Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive or a related field.
• At least 0.5 + years of experience in software testing.
• Good English communication skills.

Required skills

• C / C++ programming.
• Python scripting.
• VBA or Perl scripting.
• API programming.
• Basic knowledge of micro‑controllers and embedded systems.
• Experience with SIL and HIL test environments.
• Understanding of the software life‑cycle.
