End-of-Project Evaluation Consultant – Health Project

About the role

The End-of-Project Evaluation Consultant will lead the final assessment of ChildFund Vietnam’s health project, focusing on the first 1,000 days of child development. This short‑term consultancy will analyse project outcomes, identify gaps, and provide actionable recommendations for future programming.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive end‑of‑project evaluation covering health, nutrition, and early childhood development components.
• Gather and analyse quantitative and qualitative data from project sites in northern Vietnam.
• Assess the effectiveness of maternal and child health interventions and feeding practices.
• Identify cultural and systemic barriers affecting project impact.
• Prepare a detailed evaluation report with evidence‑based recommendations for scaling or adapting interventions.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in health project evaluation, preferably in low‑resource or ethnic‑minority contexts.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development, nutrition, and maternal health.
• Excellent analytical and report‑writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and liaise with local stakeholders.
