Engineer Specialist Of Automation And Robotics

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Engineer Specialist in Automation and Robotics to lead our automation team at Hoya Glass Disk Vietnam. The role involves overseeing all automation projects for our HOGV1, HOGV2 and HLAO lines and driving the development of a smart factory.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Automation team and manage all automation projects for HOGV1, HOGV2 and HLAO production lines.
• Design automation solutions and prepare proposals to implement them in Hoya’s manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with automation suppliers to identify and select the best technical solutions.
• Progressively build a smart‑factory environment incorporating IoT, data analytics and AI.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial automation.
• Proven track record leading at least three automation projects in a factory setting within the last two years.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Project‑management experience and ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Hands‑on experience with smart‑factory technologies such as IoT, data analytics and AI.
