About the role
Techcombank is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal advice and support across its banking operations. The role ensures compliance with applicable laws, protects the bank’s interests, and guides internal teams on legal matters.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver legal advice and support on regulatory, contractual, and corporate governance issues.
- Develop and conduct legal training for staff within the legal department’s scope.
- Manage contract negotiations, drafting, and review to safeguard the bank’s interests.
- Oversee litigation matters, coordinate with external counsel, and manage risk exposure.
- Handle intellectual property matters and ensure proper risk management practices.
Required profile
- Minimum 8 years of legal experience, with at least 6 years in finance, banking, or corporate governance.
- Experience in a leading law firm handling finance or banking matters is a plus.
- Relevant legal degree and professional qualifications.
