Key Account Executive – Modern Trade (Winmart & CVS)

About the role

As a Key Account Executive you will be the primary point of contact for Nestlé’s modern‑trade customers in Hanoi, focusing on WinMart and convenience‑store chains. You will work closely with store managers, internal trade‑marketing teams and field promoters to ensure product availability, optimal merchandising and successful promotional execution.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve agreed sales, distribution, merchandising and call‑coverage targets for assigned WinMart and CVS accounts.
• Develop, monitor and adjust field sales plans to meet volume, value and KPI objectives.
• Lead commercial discussions at store level, negotiate terms, track sales out, inventory levels and order placement.
• Execute channel and category plans at the point of purchase, managing shelf space, displays and promotions.
• Provide demand forecasts, market updates, customer feedback and competitor insights to support business planning.
• Build strong relationships with store contacts and collaborate with Trade Marketing, Marketing and other internal functions.
• Coach and motivate promoters and merchandisers to improve day‑to‑day store execution.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé trade policies, safety standards and local regulations.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of modern‑trade sales experience with a proven record of meeting KPIs.
• Solid understanding of field sales, customer management and cross‑functional commercial execution.
• Experience working with or supporting promoters and merchandisers.
• Strong relationship‑building, negotiation and business‑planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑focused and able to work with integrity and accountability.
• Knowledge of integrated commercial planning, key‑account management and quality fundamentals is a plus.
• Prior experience managing WinMart and CVS accounts (e.g., GS25, Circle K, FamilyMart) is highly preferred.
