LCL Operations Specialist

About the role

The LCL Operations Specialist will manage daily less‑than‑container‑load (LCL) export and import shipments, ensuring smooth execution from booking confirmation to cargo delivery. This role is pivotal for maximizing container utilization while maintaining cargo safety and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute LCL shipments, handling all steps from booking to delivery.
• Plan and manage LCL consolidation and loading plans to optimize container space.
• Collaborate with co‑loaders, carriers, CFS warehouses, trucking companies, overseas agents, and internal teams.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including House Bill of Lading (HBL) and Master Bill of Lading (MBL).

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in LCL operations or a similar freight‑forwarding role.
• Experience in LCL consolidation, loading planning, or export/import operations is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding, shipping documentation, and international logistics processes.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
