Legal Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Legal Assistant to join the legal department of Shinryo Vietnam Corporation in Ho Chi Minh City. The successful candidate will support lawyers and senior staff by handling documentation, conducting legal research, and assisting with day‑to‑day legal tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and organise legal documents, contracts and correspondence.
• Conduct statutory and case law research using online legal databases.
• Maintain and update legal filing systems, both physical and electronic.
• Assist lawyers in drafting pleadings, memoranda and other legal paperwork.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather information required for legal matters.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filing of documents with relevant authorities.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience as a legal assistant or in a comparable role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using legal research tools and databases.
