Legal Specialist – Real Estate (Multinational)

About the role

The Legal Specialist will support a multinational real‑estate organization by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. You will work closely with property and building management teams, providing legal counsel to mitigate risks and facilitate smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate legal and compliance matters, including enterprise registration, sub‑licensing, corporate governance documentation (resolutions, minutes) and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee operational and asset compliance by maintaining permits, land‑use rights, environmental approvals and other statutory authorizations required for real‑estate projects.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts related to property acquisition, development, leasing and service agreements.
• Handle dispute resolution and liaise with regulatory authorities to address compliance issues.
• Provide timely legal advice to property and building management teams on risk mitigation and regulatory matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the real‑estate sector.
• Fluent English; Japanese language skills are a plus.
• Strong logical thinking, business‑oriented legal mindset and excellent communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, adaptable and collaborative work style.
