Maintenance & Improvement Engineer

About the role

As a Maintenance & Improvement Engineer you will support the Dong Nai factory by enhancing equipment reliability and driving continuous improvement projects. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot, optimise and implement engineering solutions that boost plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and planned maintenance to increase equipment uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs, identify improvement opportunities and drive reliability, productivity, safety and cost projects.
• Support shutdowns, overhauls, commissioning and provide technical guidance to technicians and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, food‑safety and environmental standards and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or related engineering.
• At least 4 years of maintenance, reliability or automation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead small teams or cross‑functional improvement projects.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Preventive maintenance and reliability engineering.

• Data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI, Power Apps or Excel dashboards.
• PLC programming and automation system knowledge.
• Electrical, control‑system and manufacturing equipment expertise.
