Material Coordinator – Vietnamese Required

About the role

Material Coordinator (Vietnamese Only) is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials from suppliers to the shipyard warehouse, ensuring timely arrival according to project planning.

Key responsibilities

• Create the Bill of Material (BOM) for each template.
• Generate and actively manage Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
• Expedite material arrivals and trace shipments in the yard.
• Report material status to the project team.
• Find alternative solutions when materials are late or missing.
• Handle Non‑conformity Reports (NCR) and maintain inventory lists.

Required profile

• Degree in Maritime Hull, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a technical university qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in work preparation, planning, logistics or supply‑chain activities (production experience is a plus).
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
