Material Planning Specialist

About the role

The Material Planning Specialist will ensure that all production lines have the right materials at the right time while keeping inventory levels optimal. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain a smooth flow of components for uninterrupted manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor material requirements to guarantee continuous production.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels using MRP calculations and inventory control techniques.
• Coordinate with suppliers to secure timely deliveries and resolve any supply issues.
• Update and validate planning data in the ERP system (e.g., SAP).
• Support demand planning, inventory optimization, and production scheduling activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in material planning, supply chain, or production planning, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory control processes.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
