Methods Technician

About the role

The Methods Technician will act as the bridge between engineering design and manufacturing execution. You will convert engineering BOM data into manufacturing‑ready BOMs, ensuring that products can be built safely, efficiently, and consistently.

Key responsibilities

• Transform Engineering BOM (EBOM) into Manufacturing BOM (MBOM) for all product lines.
• Analyse engineering drawings and 3‑D CAD models to extract production‑relevant information.
• Collaborate with design, production and quality teams to validate manufacturing processes.
• Maintain accurate BOM data in the ERP system and support continuous improvement of the data flow.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between design intent and manufacturing capability.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, methods or process engineering.
• Basic understanding of EBOM and MBOM concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3‑D CAD models.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and strong Excel skills is preferred.
