NEO Vehicle AUTOSAR Embedded Software Engineer (1-year contract)

About the role

Join Bosch's Cross-Domain Computing & ADAS team in Ho Chi Minh City as an Embedded Software Engineer focused on NEO Vehicle AUTOSAR development. You will work on high‑quality Linux/Android‑based automotive head‑unit and home‑appliance systems, delivering software components for navigation, vehicle functions, autonomous driving and IoT features.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with third‑party vendors (e.g., Vector, EB, MCAL) to integrate external software modules.
• Create and maintain technical specifications for software components.
• Design and develop system‑ and hardware‑related software in C, following Bosch guidelines and industry standards.
• Perform analyses, code reviews and implement automated testing and validation.
• Work closely with architects, function developers, product owners and other stakeholders to clarify requirements.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong proficiency in C programming for microcontrollers.
• Solid debugging and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with AUTOSAR and non‑AUTOSAR architectures and configuration (NVM, COM, DIAG).
• Knowledge of driver development for CAN, LIN, FlexRay, SPI, ADC, timers, watchdogs, interrupts, DMA and memory.
• Familiarity with MISRA coding rules and automotive communication standards (CAN, ISO14229, J1939, UDS).
