Operation Executive – Bulk Shipment

About the role

The Operation Executive will manage bulk shipment operations, focusing on barge transportation from loading points to ocean vessels. You will ensure seamless coordination with service providers and maintain compliance with shipment schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate barge transportation plans for bulk cargo in line with shipment timelines.
• Collaborate with inland waterway service providers to secure suitable barges, monitor fleet capacity and schedule availability.
• Track barge operations throughout the transport cycle and address any delays or issues.
• Prepare and deliver regular operational reports to internal stakeholders.
• Support port and shipping operations to guarantee on‑time delivery of cargo.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, Transportation, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inland waterway transportation, bulk cargo logistics, port or shipping operations, or bulk cargo transportation planning.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex logistics processes and work with multiple external partners.
