About the role

The Deputy Head of Direct Purchasing will lead sourcing and procurement activities for mechanical parts and packaging within the Vietnamese market. Reporting to the Head of Purchasing, this senior position drives cost‑saving initiatives and ensures seamless supply chain execution to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase mechanical components and packaging materials for domestic projects.
• Develop and implement supply‑chain strategies that achieve cost reductions while meeting quality and delivery targets.
• Collaborate closely with Project Management and PMC teams to fulfill customer delivery schedules.
• Maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, monitoring performance, reliability, and product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of purchasing experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role.
• Experience in large EMS or multinational manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
• Proven track record handling electronics OEM/ODM projects and managing component portfolios.
