Planning Manager

About the role

The Planning Manager will lead project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and controls for the GE Project in Hai Phong, ensuring objectives are met through effective coordination and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project Master Schedule covering engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and hand‑over.
• Monitor progress against baselines, analyse critical path impacts and produce mitigation and recovery plans.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, KPI reports, S‑curves and look‑ahead schedules for clients and management.
• Coordinate planning activities with project managers, construction managers, QA/QC, HSE, procurement, engineering and contractors.
• Identify schedule risks, support risk assessments and evaluate the impact of project changes on schedule and resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 8‑10 years of experience in project planning/scheduling, with at least 3 years in a Planning Manager or senior controls role.
• Experience on large‑scale industrial, power plant or EPC projects and working with international clients.
