Process / Senior Process Engineer - Pipeline & Heat Treatment

About the role

Bosch Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City plant (HcP) in Long Thanh, Dong Nai, is looking for a Process / Senior Process Engineer for its Pipeline and Heat Treatment process. The role covers operational documentation, process control and continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Operational Documentation Set (ODS) so operators follow standards that comply with P-FMEA and Control Plan, and keep the process P-FMEA up to date
• Implement improvements to processes, machines and equipment, using ECRs where needed for cycle time, quality, safety and cost
• Carry out FAT and SAT tests and follow up related tasks and projects
• Handle quality complaints from manufacturing operations and optimise machines for safer operation
• Solve product quality problems with existing tools and known reaction plans
• Maintain process capacity (cycle time, reject rate) against targets
• Share practical experience with colleagues and work with Technical Function teams on machine issues
• Monitor process capability (Cpk) and maintain the SPC system in the plant, explaining SPC reports and charts when asked

Required profile

• Engineer degree or Bachelor in Materials, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic engineering
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience as a Process Engineer is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of process control tools such as PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC and CPK
• Experience with systematic problem solving is preferred
