Procurement Specialist (Technical Sourcing)

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist focused on technical sourcing to join our team in Hung Yen. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers of components, materials, tools, and services that meet our engineering and production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for electronic components, enclosure parts, electromechanics, and custom elements.
• Source and purchase items according to detailed technical specifications.
• Lead sourcing initiatives for plastic injection, aluminum die‑casting, rubber parts, and electronic components.
• Collaborate closely with engineering on new product introduction (NPI) and tooling/mold development.
• Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of procurement experience in electronics, EMS, or automotive sectors.
• Strong background in technical sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with mold/tooling and NPI projects.
• Proven negotiation, contract, and vendor management skills.
• Analytical mindset with focus on cost‑efficiency and risk mitigation.
